The software engineering industry is shifting from a 'puzzle-solving' craft to an 'output-management' role as LLMs automate the low-level logic. While productivity is skyrocketing for system builders, the intellectual joy and high-barrier-to-entry status of traditional manual coding are rapidly evaporating. The era where being a 'human compiler' was a high-paid career path is officially reaching its end.
